Yang Ming High School in Taiwan has purchased 1 unit e-Lar STDX16 , 1 unit e-Lar CCC and 3 units e-Lar CCC Roaming to install on its Campus to take care of their surveillance needs. First, e-Lar STDX16 and e-Lar CCC were installed in its IT management center while e-Lar CCC Roaming are installed in the Library and General Affairs Management Office to monitor the important security points like the portals inside the library and important corners around the Campus.

Yang Ming has had installed Sensor Lights associated with the whole day 24 hours Non-Stop Recording to survey its campus and Sensor Lights with infrared equipment for Time-Lapse Recording & Motion Detect Recording inside the library. e-Lar CCC Roaming has been installed in the library and General Affairs Management Office to monitor the conditions of every surveillance location at all times.

With the use of e-Lar CCC Roaming, top management can investigate the situations of their surveillance locations at any time via the Internet. They plan to purchase more cameras to monitor more important locations.

Yang Ming High School originally adopted a traditional VCR ( Video Cassette Recorder ) surveillance system. But management felt that it was quite troublesome, especially during the summer/winter/new year's vacations/holidays when they were off duty and they still had to go to school to exchange the video tapes. When e-Lar were installed, they can monitor and switch to any camera's pictures they want to investigate from anywhere anytime even when they are off duty and at their homes. There is an extra advantage which is been found: They find that the scenery of the campus changes at every moment in a day making for very beautiful and vivid images. They will make the Graduate Memorial Video CD using some of the recorded surveillance video.
